The Complete Idiots Guide to Amazing Sex

So yesterday I went into a Barnes and Noble with a friend of mine. I was in search of a certain book for my husband, but found myself in the "Romance and Sex" section. I've never really had a lot of female friends and I was surprised at how open she was about her sex life. Now I know it's common for middle aged women to get together and bitch about their men but never had I encountered this type of conversation from someone my own age! So, we're being goofy at first picking self help books out for ourselves, judging by the titles! I can't believe there's a book called "The complete idiots guide to Amazing Sex!" hahaha. So she proceeds to tell me she should get that book and leave it lay around the house for "suttle hints." I was like "that bad huh?" and that sparked a conversation. She's telling me how well "hung" he is and goes into detail about her last three boyfriends and how lucky she was!! So now I'm thinking.. "must be nice!" But she says her man has NOOOO technique. She's like "He is 6 years younger then me, I think I just have to train him!" So that sparks another conversation... and I found it interesting that she felt the same way that I did. I wouldn't call it "training" as much as "teaching" him what I like though. I think each person desires something different and we have to teach our partner what those things are. And, I also feel that time makes perfect sex. I think that over time two people learn what turns each other on. Like last night I was doing dishes and he came behind me and whispered "I was thinking about taking you upstairs and fucking you nice and hard!" Wow, that got me going! I guess the point of this post is to show how proud I am of this generation... knowing what they want and need and going for it! I'm proud of people that try new things and are forward about it. Sometimes it takes books or articles or whatever to take that step but it's worth it!
